Taken on my way back from Jasper National Park for my rendezvous with Moraine Lake early the next morning. That's Alberta Highway 93 in the foreground, AKA the Icefields Parkway.

This Mt. Wilson (3,260 meters) is not to be confused with the one in California which cradles the historically important Mt. Wilson Observatory which had the largest telescope in the world from 1917 to 1949 (the 2.5 meter Hooker telescope).

Anyway, I thought this a pretty view. It was originally a Pano combining two photos, but I ended up cropping away the area to the right, so it's just a single photo.

In retrospect, I wish I'd included just a little more of the highway.
