Edited in Apple's Photos to tone down the highlights in the windows, then in Photos Filters for the painting effect, and finally in Snapheal to remove unwanted elements and for further enhancements of exposure, brightness, saturation, tone, and hue. Snapheal is very powerful.

Boston Peter's Vegan Thumb Print Cookie Recipe
Makes ~ 18 cookies
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup almond butter
1/2 cup dry sweetener
1 tbs ground flaxseeds (we were out of these)
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups oat flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/2 cup jam (raspberry if you don't have beach plum)
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat baking mat.
2. In a large mixing bowl, use a strong fork to beat together the applesauce, almond butter, sweetener and flaxseeds. Once relatively smooth, mix in the vanilla.
3. Add the oat flour, baking soda, and salt and mix well. Fold in the oats and walnuts.
4. Roll about 2 tbs of batter in a ball and place on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining batter until you have 18 balls (or less bigger ones). They can all fit on one sheet because they don't spread much during baking. Moisten your thumb or index finger and make a deep indent in the center of each cookie. Place about 1/2 tsp of jam in each indentation.
5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the bottoms of the cookies are golden brown.
6. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
7. MOW DOWN ON THEM.

A glass cake-stand and cover hold a Sweet Apple Challah. This was an experimental test of an online recipe in preparation for Rosh Hashana 2017.
The whole activity was guided by a video demonstration on an iPhone...
I am trying to resist going to the kitchen for another taste...

I used Macphun's Snapheal on my MacBook Pro to remove flour residue on the counter and a few extra utensils I didn't have time to move for this quick iPhone 7 Plus morning shot.
Note added in January 2021: Snapheal is gone, and that is no fun! I am getting motivated to learn Photoshop,
