The church complex sits on seven acres of land donated by the original developers of Spring Hill. The developers donated land to several churches a smart tactic when building a bedroom community out of whole cloth.

From what I understand the original plans for the area included several public use properties but no accommodation for anything resembling a "Main Street" or "downtown". This lack of a town center helps explain the lack of unity in the population. It is basically a bedroom community containing several gated developments, separate but together.
