On the left of the photo is Selwyn's Travel, Runcorn, CTU698S, a Plaxton Supreme bodied Volvo B58-61, new in 04/1978, while contrasting on the right is Barry Cooper's - Naylors, Stockton Heath, UTB542S, a Plaxton Viewmaster bodied Leyland Leopard PSU3E/4R, new in 01/1978 according to www.buslistsontheweb.co.uk. They are seen here on display at the former US Air Base, Burtonwood, for what I think was the North West Museum of Transport, Transport Festival in early 05/1978.

The film used was a Boots Colourslide II, with a Halina 1000 camera.

I would request, as with all my photos, that they are not copied or downloaded in any way, shape or form. © Peter Steel 1978.
