The Figaro is a front-engine, front-wheel drive, two-door, 2+2, fixed-profile convertible and manufactured by Nissan for model year 1991, and marketed in Japan at Nissan Cherry Stores. Powered by a turbocharged 987cc power unit, they are based on the Micra, although according to a vehicle check, this one is powered by a 1000cc engine. Only 20,073 were produced, most in right-hand drive format. This nice example may have been an import, as it did not receive its current registration until 09/2005. In its original colour, this rare example is seen here on Dalton Road, Barrow-in-Furness, on 16/07/2022, when leaving the Barrow Festival of Transport. © Peter Steel 2022.
