At first, I was going to say a contrast in Mercs., however PO72CBF, from Bibby's, Ingleton, is a Noone Turas 900s bodied DAF LF. It was first registered in 02/2023 although whether this is its original registration, I'm unsure as I can't seem to find any record. In total contrast alongside is preserved Stagecoach Ribble 572, G572PRM, an Alexander AM Sprint bodied Mercedes-Benz 709D. Restored in 'Uni Sprint' livery, a scheme used for services to Lancaster University, by Stagecoach Ribble in Lancaster, it was new in 06/1990, and is owned by a couple of members from the Barrow Transport Group, the 572 Group. This photo was taken at Lancaster(Forton) Services M6 Northbound on 04/06/2023. The preserved Merc. was returning from the North West Vehicle Restoration Trust's Open & Running Day, at Kirkby, Liverpool. © Peter Steel 2023.
