Not the real thing of course, but a model of R.N.L.B. Ralph & Joy Swann, that was formerly based at Ramsgate. This nice model is seen here at speed being operated by by the Ellesmere Port Model Boat Club at the Hooton Park Bus Running & Aviation Day, Ellesmere Port, on 13/08/2023.
The real one was built in 1976 at Bideford Shipyard( Now owned by Harland & Wolff (Appledore), North Devon, and was powered by 2 x 250hp Ford Mermaid 595T, then from 1981 by 2 x 250hp Caterpillar D3208T. © Peter Steel 2023.
