These two Bee Network Stagecoach Manchester Scania N230 UD OmniCity's are seen here on Station Approach, Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station on 05/06/2024. One is about to operate, in the case of 15387, YR59FZG, nearest the camera, or is operating as in the case of 15385, YR59FYY. 15387 was new to London United(SP125)(later SP40125), in 12/2009, this Scania passed to Go North West(3604), for Tranche 1 of Bee Network, via Go-South Coast Morebus(1188). It was converted to single-door from dual-door operation for Morebus and painted yellow so little needed to be done in preparation for Bee Network. Transferring to Stagecoach Manchester under Tranche 2 of Bee Network, which began on 24/03/2024, it is seen here on layover prior to operating free city centre Service 2 15:30 Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station - Exchange Street - Manchester Victoria Railway Station - Shudehill Interchange - Manchester Piccadilly Gardens - Manchester Chorlton Street Coach Station - Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station circular. The furthest away, 15385, was new to London United(SP117)(later SP40117), in 11/2009, this Scania passed to Go North West(3618), for Tranche 1 of Bee Network, via Stephensons of Essex, Rochford. It was converted to single-door from dual-door operation for Go North West for Bee Network. Under Tranche 2 of Bee Network, which started on 24/03/2024, Stagecoach Manchester(Greater Manchester South) gained Manchester Queens Road depot from Go North West and the Oldham Mumps depot from First Manchester. In Tranche 1, which started on 24/09/2023, Stagecoach Manchester(Greater Manchester West) lost the Wigan depot to Go North West and in Tranche 3, starting on 05/01/2025, Stagecoach Manchester(Greater Manchester South) will lose Ashton-under-Lyne, Manchester Hyde Road, and Manchester Sharston to Comfort DelGro Metroline Manchester who will also gain Arriva Manchester's Wythenshaw depot. Stagecoach Manchester(Greater Manchester South) will keep their Stockport depots.
