I would say this Golf Cabriolet dates from mid-to late 1990s going by the style. That style of Spanish registration system finished in 09/2000. It carries the registration provincial code 'A' meaning Alicante whereas the Smart car next to it, B-1812-WV, denotes Barcelona.
