New to Ribble as a 36-seat touring coach in 04/1970, this was the last in the batch of twenty of these short Leopards supplied to Ribble. Having been with National Travel(South West)(Greenslades), Parfitt's, Rhymney Bridge, Wales, where it received a Supreme IV lower front dash and was re-registered NIJ6060, it then passed to Leisurelink, Canvey Island. It then later passed to Ripley(dlr), Carlton and has thankfully been saved for preservation after being up for sale for several years. It is seen here at Glyndyfrdwy Station, Wales, during the Llangollen Railway Classic Transport Weekend, on 07/07/2024. © Peter Steel 2024.

This nice all Lancashire product and iconic Ribble PD3 is seen here on Charley Wood Road, Knowsley Industrial Estate North, Kirkby, Liverpool, during the annual North West Vehicle Restoration Trust's Open and Running day, its home event, on 02/06/2024. New to Ribble in 06/1958, it spent most of its operating life working out of Carlisle. After a brief stint at Morecambe, it returned to Carlisle as a driver training vehicle in Ribble 'NBC' days where it was numbered TV5. Its last known depot was Bootle, Merseyside. It finished a thorough restoration during early 2022. © Peter Steel 2024.
