New to Sheffield City Transport(219) in 10/1968, this Park Royal bodied Atlantean passed to South Yorkshire PTE, together with the rest of the fleet at that time, when formed on 01/04/1974 under local government reorganisation. It is seen in 07/1979 amongst a selection of classic 1970's cars on A61 Sheaf Street, Sheffield heading for Pond Street Bus Station.
The film was a Dixons Colourslide which has kept well and was the only Dixons one I used, however looking at these, I wish I had bought another couple at the time. I must've bought it away somewhere as there was no Dixons local to me.

New to Fylde in 10/1984, this was the last Atlantean to enter service with a U.K. operator. After Fylde acquired Seagull Coaches in 1988, it was given Seagull Coaches fleetnames. It was re-numbered 45 and re-registered NJI5505. It passed to Blackpool Transport along with the Fylde business in 1988 and was later re-numbered 445 in the main Blackpool fleet. It has been preserved in Seagull Coaches livery as number 45 and now carries its original registration. It is seen here at the Morecambe depot of Stagecoach(North West) during their open and running day on 23/05/2009.
The camera being a Pentax MZ-M with the film being what I think is a Boots Colourslide. There are no markings on the slide frames.

This immaculate Atlantean was delivered to the sadly missed Lancashire independent along with sister 18, XTB728N, in 08/1974. Thankfully, like a number of former Fishwick's vehicles both are now preserved. 19 is seen here in its own backyard when seen here at the Rear-Engined Rally, at The British Commercial Vehicle Museum, Leyland, on 15/06/2003. John Fishwick sadly ceased trading on 24/10/2015 after entering administration.
