The winner of the what looks like the Super Banger class final. A Triumph 2000 family of car, heavily modified.

Well not quite a banger in this view. A BRISCA F2 Stock maybe? The winner of the final is seen here. I don't ever think there were many entries at this track.

Graham Pinder, who I think was from Barrow has been the winner of the what looks like the Super Banger (or Class 2 maybe?) final. A Triumph 2000 family of car.

Plenty of classic banger action in this view with a variety of cars. Nearest the camera is a BMC 1800 ADO17, or is it an Austin Maxi? Just in front is a Triumph 2000 type and with a yellow top that looks to be going for a 'head-on' is a BMC 1100/1300 ADO16. I wonder if this was the Demolition Derby or was it just a wet track and the cars couldn't cope?

Come in No.15, your time is up! This was a popular track on decent days and attracted reasonable entries and crowds. I used to go quite often and had a spell where I took my camera. I think this may have been August 1981. A dry and dusty track sees a BLMC 1100/1300 at the end of a heat. This is an apt photo as it was my last one from this track, but I don't know why, although I do no that the racing moved to another circuit and it was that circuit I never went to, but I can't think of the dates.
The film used was Agfa Colourslide with the camera being a Praktica MTL3.
