A trio of half-cab buses are seen here on display near the art deco Midland Hotel, Morecambe, for the RVPG Running Day, on 26/05/2013. The Morecambe & Heysham AEC Regent was new in 07/1950 and is proudly on display back in it's home town. It provided circular tours of Morecambe & Bare on the day. Alongside is preserved Ribble, 2057, RN8622, a 1939 Leyland Titan TD5 with Alexander lowbridge bodywork of 1949, and far right is preserved Royal Blue, 1228, HOD30, a Bristol L6A with Beadle coachwork. This was new to Western National - Royal Blue, in 10/1948 and worked an afternoon mystery tour on the running day. © Peter Steel 2013.

New to Redcar, Tunbridge Wells, in 07/1931, as a highbridge open-rear platform double-decker is this ex-Liverpool Corporation Transport TD1. This was latterly used as a mobile staff canteen or even a 'not so' mobile canteen. It is seen here at the MTT premises, Burscough at their excellent Open & Running Day on 10/07/2016. © Peter Steel 2016.
