To be honest, I think I would've fallen off before I'd even started! Seen at the Great North Steam Fair on 14/04/2019. Behind is a Leyland GH2. Under Restoration and registered UV8812, this former tanker has also appeared as a flatbed and is now a dropside tipper. It was new in 1928. © Peter Steel 2019.

These classic road vehicles are seen here at the Great North Steam Fair on 14/04/2019. On the right facing the camera is BJ5597, a Garrett Showman's Engine. Named 'The Leader', it has a works number of 33987 and was new in 1921. On the left and overtaking is KO6596, an Austin Seven Light Van. First registered in 01/1928, this handy light van version of the famous Austin Seven car has been restored with the name of St. Clair Street Dairy, Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. Bringing up the rear is a Leyland GH2. Under Restoration and registered UV8812, this former tanker has also appeared as a flatbed and is now a dropside tipper. It was new in 1928. © Peter Steel 2019.
