New to East Midland(D171), in 02/1963, these weren't a popular buy south of the Scottish border. This one is seen here leaving Chesterfield, c.07/1978, with a healthy load heading for Matlock on the hilly 17 route. I remember travelling on this and seem to remember it struggling on those hills and getting rather warm.

The film used was an Agfa Colourslide and I think by then I had graduated to a Praktica MTL3 camera.

New to East Midland, in 01/1963, and numbered D164, these weren't a popular buy south of the Scottish border. This one is seen here, in 07/1979, at what I think is the base for Hulley's, Baslow, being on hire to Hulley's when they were apparently going through a difficult period.

The film used was an Agfa Colourslide.
