New to Fernanbús, in 2019, this Otokar is seen here quayside Port of Valencia, on 09/09/2022. The MetroBus livery and fleetname is used by a collection of operators on services from Valencia to the outlying districts and a little further afield. When seen here, it had been providing an accessible shuttle service to and from the city for passengers off P&O Cruises - MV Britannia - IMO: 9614036, which had arrived earlier in the day.

MV Britannia was completed on 26/02/2015 by Fincantieri, Monfalcone, Italy. She was laid down on 15/05/2013, launched on 14/02/2014 and Christened by the late HRH Queen Elizabeth II, on 10/03/2015 with her maiden voyage on the 14/03/2015. She is from the Royal Class of cruise ships and is British registered in Southampton. She has a GTW of 143,730, has seventeen decks of which fourteen are passenger accessible giving a maximum passenger capacity of 3,647 and 1,398 crew. She is powered by Wärtsilä 12V46F x 2 & Wärtsilä 14V46F x 2 & propulsion electric motors - 2 x VEM Sachsenwerk GMBH and is capable of 21.9 knots and a cruising speed of around 19 knots.

MV Britannia had departed from Ocean Cruise Terminal, Southampton, on 04/09/2022 for a lovely 14-night Mediterranean Cruise; Southampton - A Coruña, Spain - Valencia, Spain - La Seyne-sur-Mer(Toulon), France - Barcelona, Spain - Cadiz, Spain - Southampton. She had departed from A Coruña, on 06/09/2022. Now awaiting departure from Valencia, after a day at sea the next port of call was La Seyne-sur-Mer(Toulon), France, on 11/09/2022. © Peter Steel 2022.

Not quite as much variety in this shot. With the cruise terminal in the Spanish port of Valencia being some distance from the city centre, a fleet of coaches was required for the shuttle service alone for the passengers off P&O Cruises - MV Britannia - IMO: 9614036, which had not long arrived in the port, on 09/09/2022. The day excursion tours also required plenty of coaches as well. As well as the nine coaches in the previous view, here is another five for the shuttles. From right to left facing the camera are four coaches from Autocares Briz, Tous, Valencia, that consist of 7475KWC, a Sunsundegui SC7 bodied Mercedes-Benz. Alongside is 3450DXG, a Tata Hispano Divo II bodied Mercedes Benz OC-500RF1842, new 2006. Third from right is 4687JMY, an Irizar i6 bodied Mercedes-Benz OC500, new 2016. The fourth from the right is 1989HBT, a Hispano Xerus bodied Mercedes Benz OC-500RF1842, new 2011. At the far end is Fernanbús, S.A., Valencia, 217, 7223KVM, an Otokar Kent C 12, new in 2019. The Turkish built Otokar Navigo isn't exactly a common vehicle in mainland Britain, or on any of the isles for that matter. Following on from a photo of the same vehicle a little further back, a more close up and personal photo was taken here at Lonsdale Coach Station, Blackpool, on 21/09/2019. It was new to Ridleys in 09/2017. © Peter Steel 2019.

The Turkish built Otokar Navigo isn't exactly a common vehicle in mainland Britain, or on any of the isles for that matter, hence this opportunist shot on Rigby Road, Blackpool, on 21/09/2019, however, I did see it and get a better photo later on. © Peter Steel 2019.
