Built in 1942 to work at the Sproughton sugar beet factory, Ipswich. It's works number is 2000 and was initially preserved at the Nene Valley Railway, followed by a spell at the North Woolwich Old Station Museum, London, then moving to Barrow Hill. It is seen here in operation at Beamish, the Living Museum, Stanley, Co. Durham, at Christmas at Beamish, on 01/12/2019. The coach immediately behind the loco. is a former North London Railway 2nd class coach which seems to have moved into Furness Railway use at some stage as it was used as a store at Ulverston station for many years. Apparently, it is now in the care of the Furness Railway Trust. © Peter Steel 2019.
