New to LT(BL88), in 04/1977, this LH had a short working life in London, from 04/1977 to 09/1981, the class not being popular at all. This bus then received registration OJD93R, that was new on sister BL93, while working for OK Motor Services, Bishop Auckland, to match their fleet numbering system! Now smartly restored, it has now reverted to its original plate and is seen here at Glyndyfrdwy Station, Wales, when on display at the Llangollen Railway Classic Transport Weekend, on 07/07/2024. © Peter Steel 2024.

New to London Transport, in 03/1982, this Metrobus is one of a huge 1,442 built for London Transport/London Buses. This vehicle spent time at the Clapton and the Enfield depots of the Leaside Buses area and thus came under the control of Arriva. It later passed to Arriva Scotland West and is now part of the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust, Bridgeton Bus Garage, Glasgow, Scotland. It is seen here on Lees Road, Knowsley North Industrial Estate, Kirkby, Liverpool, on 02/06/2024, during the annual North West Vehicle Restoration Trust's Open & Running Day. © Peter Steel 2024.
