New to London Transport, in 03/1982, this Metrobus is one of a huge 1,442 built for London Transport/London Buses. This vehicle spent time at the Clapton and the Enfield depots of the Leaside Buses area and thus came under the control of Arriva. It later passed to Arriva Scotland West and is now part of the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust, Bridgeton Bus Garage, Glasgow, Scotland. This fine RT was one of several repatriated from Canada, by Roger Wright and has had a spell in the London Vintage Bus Hire fleet. Prior to repatriation from Canada, it was with Abegweit Sightseeing Tours, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, and had marker lights fitted to the roof. These have since been removed and this RT has been fully refurbished.
