New to Trathens Travel Services, Plymouth, in 10/1994, registered N316BYA, this B12T is seen here somewhere in Barrow-in-Furness, towards the end of April 2006. Quite what it was doing this far north is any ones guess. it later received fleeetnumber 17 with Cedric's.

The camera being a Pentax MZ-M with the film being a Fujichrome Colourslide.

I would request, as with all my photos, that they are not copied or downloaded in any way, shape or form. © Peter Steel 2006.

One of two new to The Travellers Choice, in 02/2001, this one being registered Y724HEC, and is the lone survivor of the two in the fleet and also the oldest full-size vehicle. This has also been re-painted in the silver, rather than the white based livery and is seen here squeezing into the village of Cartmel, when heading for the ever popular Cartmel Races Bank Holiday Monday Meeting, on 25/05/2015. © Peter Steel 2015.

.......and size matters! A deceptive view, from a size point of vehicle, is seen here at Wembley Stadium, London, on 25/05/1996, for the 1996 Football League Third Division Play-off Final between Plymouth Argyle, who finished third, and Darlington, who finished fifth, in the 1995-6 season. For the record, Plymouth were 1-0 victor's in front of an attendance of 43,431. I noted 277 coaches here including these two very different examples of coach transport for the Plymouth Argyle supporters. Obviously the beauty here is Western National 2102, M102ECV. This Van Hool Astrobel bodied Volvo B12T, new in 06/1995, was among a trio, 101-3, M101ECV etc., delivered for National Express Rapide Services, mainly from the West Country to London. In total contrast, and looking quite big alongside, is Ray's Mini Coaches, Plymouth, KMW361X, a Caetano Beja bodied Fiat 60F10. It was new to M&J Hire, Stratton, in 09/1981. Only eighteen seats compared to the Van Hool's seventy-one plus toilet!

The camera being a Praktica MTL3 with the film being a Boots Colourslide.
