First registered in 03/1905, this fine Fowler & Co. B6 Showman's Engine is seen here on display at the British Commercial Vehicle Museum, Leyland, on 25/09/2022. In the first World War it worked for Edward Box Ltd., a road contractor. More details on this can be seen in my next photo. These miniature replica traction engines are seen here on display at the Midland Railway - Butterley, Swanwick Junction Museum Complex, Ripley, Derbyshire, during the railway's Transport Festival, on 10/07/2022. Nearest the camera is a William Foster & Co., while alongside is EY05ETZ, a Burrell. According to the DVLA, it was new in 2007 but first registered in 02/2009. © Peter Steel 2022.

Built in 1908 by John Fowler & Co., Leeds, this steam traction engine is seen here on display at the Midland Railway - Butterley, Swanwick Junction Museum Complex, Ripley, Derbyshire, during the railway's Transport Festival, on 10/07/2022. When new it was exported to Australia and worked in there until the 1940s. It was repatriated to the UK in 1995. © Peter Steel 2022.
