This Cayman was just about a month old when seen here on Main Street, Brough, Cumbria, on 17/04/2022. A rich bus enthusiast perhaps with a liking of the Bristol VRT? The Cumbria Easter Rally was taking place with buses & coaches arriving and departing from the nearby Grand Prix Coaches premises, and were operating heritage services at this popular event that was taking place after a three year hiatus due to you know what. © Peter Steel 2022.

These two very different design classics of their era, one past and British, one current and German, are seen here on display at Heath Common, Wakefield, at a classic car show, on 27/05/2012. This coincided with the Dewsbury Bus Museum's Rally & Running Day. Nearest the camera, FWX568J, is an immaculately restored Morris Minor 1000. A British classic, this one, produced towards the end of the ranges production was first registered in 08/1970 and is powered by a 1098cc engine. Furthest from the camera and in a different breed is J555JPK, a Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet. Powered by a 3,400cc engine, it was first registered in 05/2001. © Peter Steel 2012.
