A contrast here at Braithwaite Fold Car Park, Bowness-on-Windermere, on 18/06/2023. Leading the way is preserved former Stagecoach Manchester, 928, R928XVM, a semi-open top converted Alexander PS bodied Volvo B10M-55 which was on a tour of the Lake District with Barrow Transport Group Members. New in 09/1997, it later became 20928 in the Stagecoach national fleetnumbering scheme. Working its way to Quantock Motor Services, Bishops Lydeard, it was converted by them during 2013. The livery is very similar to the livery it carried at Quantock but with more red on the lower 'skirt' level and also similar to the now preserved Stagecoach 'White Lady' Dennis Trident. Contrasting behind is Stagecoach (North West) 13804, a Wright Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5TL. New to Stagecoach (North West), in 07/2017, this smart Volvo B5TL, is from a batch of seven, 13801-7, that are all based at Kendal.
