The second in a batch of twenty-two supplied Stagecoach Ribble, in 2004. initially being allocated to Chorley for the 125/6 Bolton - Preston service, this Trident having also been allocated to Barrow-in-Furness, later moved to Morecambe. It is seen here descending Haws Hill, Carnforth, approaching Carnforth Railway Station, thus returning to one of its former hunting grounds, during the Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust's Morecambe Rally & Running Day, on 19/05/2024. It was acquired by the Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust at the request from Stagecoach by the late Douglas Bailey MBE, who was a well respected long time trade union official and driver, and the trust's chairman Malcolm Smith. It was new in 04/2004. © Peter Steel 2024.

New to Travel West Midlands(4571), in 03/2004, this scruffy Trident is seen here on Whitechapel, Liverpool, on a glorious 06/09/2023. Apparently Grey Line have/had a base at Higher Walton, near Warrington, and acquired this Trident from Bus Works, Birmingham, who acted as a dealer, about two weeks prior to when this photo was taken. It is operating Service 2SFG Sandycroft, Deeside, Wales, via Ellesmere Port, on behalf of the 2 Sisters Food Group. I believe the Trident and the bus have since passed to Howards Travel Group - Omega Busways, Warrington, along with the contract. © Peter Steel 2023.
