This nice AJS was first registered in 09/1952, so seventy two years old as I post this photo. It is seen here on B6276 New Road, Brough, during the Cumbria Easter Rally, on 30/03/2024. It is taking part in the Saturday Road Run. In the background turning onto Main Street, and heading for Grand Prix Coaches, is Stagecoach(North West), 47001, KX51CRU. An Optare Solo M850 and part of the Stagecoach Bus heritage fleet, this Kendal depot 'pet' was operating a 'service' from The Fat Lamb Country Inn, Ravenstonedale, during the rally. It was new to Stagecoach Midland Red(South)(601), in 10/2001 and was the first of its type new to Stagecoach Holdings. It also carries 'fleetnumber' D1521. D1521 being the pre-TOPS number of British Railways Class 47 - 47001! © Peter Steel 2024.

This fine British built veteran motorcycle was first registered in 07/1923. It is seen here about to make the right hand turn from Castle Street, Llangollen, Wales, onto A539 Mill Street, when returning home from the Llangollen Railway Classic Vehicle Weekend, Glyndyfrdwy Station, on 03/07/2022. This event was in association with the British Motorcycle Preservation Society and this weekend was returning after a three year hiatus. © Peter Steel 2022.
