Brewed by Carlsberg Marston's. The original Wainwright's was brewed by Bluckburn based Thwaites Brewery. In 03/2015, Marston's reached agreement with Daniel Thwaites PLC to acquire the trading operations of Thwaites' beer division.
Thwaites Brewery is a regional brewery founded in 1807 by Daniel Thwaites in Blackburn, Lancashire, now located near Mellor in the Ribble Valley. Part of the company was sold to Marston's in 2015, as mentioned above, and the original brewery was demolished in 2019. Thwaites still produces beer on a smaller scale. Thwaites also have hotels and pubs.

Beer time! Not usually my go to beer but this pint was exceptional. A lovely quirky and popular cafe bar in this Cumbrian village with good reviews. No hand pump beer on but a variety of craft beer in bottles. This was keg beer and they also had a lager on. Abv. 3.6%
