More details on the previous photo. New in 1898, this lovingly restored horse drawn fire appliance is seen here on display at the British Commercial Vehicle Museum, Leyland, on 25/09/2022. It is one of the very few in full working order. It has been restored and is owned by the Lancashire Fire Brigade - Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service. This museum is well worth a visit, especially if you haven't been for a while or in fact haven't been before. © Peter Steel 2022.
