As well as the re-imported former China Motor Bus/Hong Kong Citybus Leyland Olympians, Stagecoach Manchester also re-imported twenty of these huge Dennis Dragons from Stagecoach Kenya when they were just two or three years old for use on the highly competitive Wilmslow Road services in the heart of university-land in south Manchester, where this one is heading on the ultra-competitive service to East Didsbury when seen on Portland Street, Manchester, on 25/03/2007. It was new to Stagecoach Kenya, 207, KAG-543J, in 12/1997. When new, they sat 115 people. Latterly numbered 688, this Dragon has since served with Sidlaw Executive Travel, Dundee, Scotland, where it was in 2017.

The camera being a Pentax MZ-M with the film being a Jessops Colourslide.

I would request, as with all my photos, that they are not copied or downloaded in any way, shape or form. © Peter Steel 2007.
