This what looks like an East Lancs Lolyne bodied bus is seen here inside part of the former East Lancashire Coachbuilers factory, Whitebirk Industrial Estate, Whitebirk Drive, Blackburn, on 02/07/2006, during a rally and open-day. I seem to think there had been a road run from Winfields, Haslingden, although I'm unsure on that point.

Tours of the factory were also available. East Lancashire Coachbuilders were founded in Blackburn in 1934 however the company went into administration for a short while in 08/2007, before being bought by Darwen Group and performed a complicated reverse takeover with Optare when its parent purchased the company in 2008. This site and business was later closed in 2012.
