Carris (Companhia Carris de Ferro de Lisboa).(C.C.F.L.) - (Lisbon Tramways Company):
This view was taken in a 'workshop' at the excellent Museu da Carris(CARRIS Museum), on 21/11/2023.
The museum is situated at the tram/bus depot, partly occupying old workshops where some trams were built. A great place to visit but unfortunately it wasn't far off closing for lunch when I got here, so a return visit is on the cards.

Some 5,000 of these were built in the Second World War by the Standard Motor Company, Coventry, and Gwynne, a pump firm from London. These utilised a Standard 8 motor car petrol engine. This example is seen here on display at the North West Museum of Road Transport, St. Helens, on 16/10/2022. © Peter Steel 2022.
