This Class 153 twin-set is seen approaching Dalton-in-Furness, Cumbria, heading for Barrow-in-Furness on 17/08/2016. Unfortunately this is not the clearest of shots as I was having lens trouble with the camera for some reason. After I had walked to Dalton, from Walney Island, which is about six miles, I went for a couple of pints at a local pub. Getting home however was rather difficult and not because I was drunk!!! I waited over forty-five mins. for a bus or three that failed to show. My next option was this train and that was also running late. It took me longer to get home than it did to walk there in the first place! © Peter Steel 2016.
