Progress Rail Services Ltd., Nottingham, converted Class 56 locomotives into Class 69s at their workshops in Longport, Stoke-on-Trent which was to fulfil the needs of GB Railfreight who could not purchase anymore Class 66 locos. The Class 69s have had a full overhaul, a redesigned cab and new EMD diesel engines. This fine example is seen here awaiting from Haworth when working the delayed 13:00 Oxenhope - Haworth - Oakworth - Damems Jct. - Damems - Ingrow West - Keighley service during the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway Diesel Gala, on 21/06/2024.
