Former BR Class 14 "Teddy Bear" D9502, amazingly still in BR colours, numbers and branding awaits it's fate at Ashington on 7th June 1986. Presumably the locomotive has never received a repaint since leaving Swindon works when new. Surprisingly D9502 survived and is a long term restoration project.
