Well retail heaven? 158789 at Gateshead Metrocentre on a wet 28th August 2019 having arrived with 2W19, the 09:20 Nunthorpe to Hexham service. As the school Summer holidays have not yet finished the service has had a particularly good loading.

One not to be missed really, a Class 50 running over the Tyne Valley Line. The weather conditions were awful to say the least, but crank up the ISO and give it a go. The appropriately named "Return of Thunder Vac" featured 50008 Thunderer and was run on 27th July 2019 by the BLS (Branch Line Society), following heavy thundery rain the previous evening with heavy rain on the day. The train is seen here passing the attractive signal cabin at Wylam on the Tyne Valley Line, the waiting shelter being convenient to dodge the rain until the arrival of the train. 1Z08 was a Derby to Carlisle round trip, returning from Carlisle via the S&C.
