37429 Eisteddfod Genedlaethol at the pleasant Yeovil Pen Mill station on 3rd July 1990, working the 08:03 Cardiff to Weymouth service.

37429 was withdrawn on 31st December 2007 and cut-up by EMR Kingsbury in February 2008.

On 4th October 1991 156433 departs from Haltwhistle forming the 12:52 Newcastle to Stranraer service. Much steam age infrastructure still survived at this location on this date. The trackless platform on the right was used for services on the branch to Alston.

156460 rolls into Castleford forming the 08:50 Sheffield to Leeds service on 25th August 1991. The scene has changed a bit since then, the semaphore signals having been replaced in a resignalling scheme.
