I'm only an inch or two shy of six feet myself.

Chain mail bikinis are not historic. They are farsical and the invention of 1970s sword and sorcery art for Conan the Barbarian and Red Sonja. The wire bikini worn by Princess Leiah in Return of the Jedi cemented them into popular culture and they are a mainstay at renaissance festivals now. Unfortunately they usually look ridiculous on the women who wear them.

However, this young lady would certainly be the exception. I think she stepped out of a Boris Vallejo painting or something. Karela the Red Hawk perhaps?

Inside the imagination of my 15 year old brain. Acrylics on canvas. I was inspired by the amazing fantasy artwork of Larry Elmore and Clyde Caldwell which I loved. Clearly my skills were far from complete, but this is the one and only real painting I ever did. One of these days I may pick up a paintbrush again and try to learn the real art of it.

My understanding of arms and armor was a bit less solid in those days than it is now. I didn't know or care much about the history of it at the time. I just knew what looked "cool" to me.

On reflection, the warrior's helmet looks very similar to the one worn by the Chief of the Jun Horde in the film The Beastmaster. That is no accident. The Beastmaster is arguably second best to the Conan films in the 1980s barbarian genre in my opinion and I watched it many times.

The warrior's sword is undoubtedly similar to the real one I was working on at the time; the pieces of which I still have to this day.

Of course there is a scantily clad "damsel in distress". Young as I was, I still operated under the misconception that I should one day prove gallant for some lovely damsel in distress. I later learned that women in the real world didn't want guys to save them anymore, they preferred men who put them in distress. I'm still trying to figure that out...

Dig the girl's fur bikini! Fur lingerie would be the obvious fashion choice in areas filled with fire.
