1986-1989 Oil on canvas 布上油画-1 By a classroom as a studio 借一教室作为工作室。
这批大幅油画是我在 1986 年至 1989 年之间完成。1990 年初,去职离乡,远至法国谋生。临走前,因上海家中无地存放,寄放于两百公里之外,同事在杭州的家中;1993 年初,回乡后,去杭州将这批画从框中拆下,卷成一卷,运回上海, 至今已有近 30 年。因长期卷曲,绝大部分油画已损坏,只留下部分照片,是当时做画的过程中,朋友所拍。现将其展示,算作对这段工作的回忆。
These large-scale oil paintings were created from 1986 to 1989. In early 1990, I left my job and flee to France. Before leaving, since there was no room to store them at home, I sent these paintings to my colleague’s home in Hangzhou which is 200 km away from Shanghai. I came back at the beginning of 1993, and I went to Hangzhou, unmounted all the paintings and rolled them up all together in one big roll for transportation back to Shanghai, and that was nearly 30 years ago. Due to long time curling, most of the paintings were damaged, and the pictures shown here, which witness my work during that period of time, were part of the collection that were photographed by my friend when I was painting them.
