Stop looking up. They're already here.

Ext-Trailer Trails RV Campground-Night

(The camera pans under the main entrance sign, between rows of parked
RVs scattered between trees. The sound of crickets and frogs rise from
the small, nearby lake. Cut to a dining hall. The camera moves over the
rows of wooden picnic-style tables, through a pass-through window, along
cooking and refrigeration equipment, stopping and focusing on an
electric "EXIT" sign. Camera pans down, focusing on the wooden door
below the sign. The door knob jiggles, turns left and right a few times.
Finally, there's a metallic "popping" sound and the door swings open.
Two girls stand in the doorway, moonlight sparkling on the lake, beyond
them.)

Girl1: I don't think we should do this. Let's go back to your car.

Girl2: Don't wuss out now. Don't you want to get high?

(They enter the kitchen. Cut to the dining hall. They walk between the
tidy rows of tables.)

Girl1: How do you know about the weed?

Girl2: I used to come camping here. Summers, with my dad, y'know.

Girl1: Oh.

Girl2: I always saw the janitor sneak off. I thought it was just for a
drink or a regular smoke, right? (she smiles) So, I followed him, and I
saw him stash a bag of weed.

They get to the opposite side of the hall, where several office doors
face them, one marked "Janitorial", but Girl1 stops Girl2.

Girl1: What makes you think it'll still be there?

Girl2: The same bag won't be there, doofus. But I know the same guy
works here. There's gonna be a bag, trust me.

Girl1: I don't want to get in trouble.

Girl2: Then you shouldn't be hanging out with me.

(They laugh then Girl2 starts picking the lock while Girl1 keeps a lookout.)

Girl2: Presto! (opens the door)

Girl1: Okay, let's hurry!

Girl2: (looking past Girl1) What the hell?

Girl1: (looking over her shoulder) What?

Girl2: I thought I saw something by the doors.

Girl1: (turns to look) I don't see anything.

Girl2: I guess it could have been a shadow.

Girl1: I'll keep an eye on the doors. You grab the weed! (she faces the
doors)

Girl2: I'm pretty sure there's nothing out there to worry about.

Girl1: Please hurry! (to Girl2) I think I saw something move past the doors!

Girl2: People are always worried about "what's out there," when they
should be worried about what's already here. (from behind Girl1)

Girl1: (turning to Girl2) What's that supposed to mean?

Girl2: (smiles) You'll see.

(The irises of Girl2's eyes glow golden and she grasps Girl1's arm when
Girl1 tries to recoil in fear.).

Razer's theme plays.

Special thanks to Bailey for finding the perfect lodge.)

~~~~~~~~~~ Part 1 ~~~~~~~~~~
INT-Calypso's Bathroom-Day
The camera shows a shot of Calypso Moore reflected in the mirror. She's
deciding what to do with her hair.
Darren Moore: (off camera/outside bathroom door) Hey, Caly?
Caly: (pushing around her hair) Almost presentable, Dad!
Darren: (off camera) My working girl doesn't want to be late for her
first day on the job!
Caly: That kind of makes me sound like a hooker!
Darren: (off camera) You're not going to make that much money!
Caly: Well, darn!
Darren: (off camera, laughs) Meet you at the car!
Cut to Trailer Trails RV Campground. The camera pans from the sign, over
the RVs and lake beyond, to the main lodge.
Cut to Darren pulling up in his convertible, to the building just inside
the gated entrance, where a sign "office" hangs over the door, to drop
off Caly.
Darren: Looks even nicer in the summer. (looking around the RV park)
Caly: Money will make it even better. (she exits the car)
Darren: You're not nervous at all, are you? (sounding surprised)
Caly: (smiles) Why would I be nervous?
Darren: I don't know -- seventeen, first job. (smiles) You seem so --
grown up.
Caly: What's the worst that could happen? I get fired? (shrugs) Then I
just find another job that appreciates my enthusiasm.
Darren: I was hoping to be the one to give you a pep talk. But you've
got that covered, too.
Caly: This could be false bravado. A solid show of support couldn't hurt.
Darren: (smiles) Go get 'em, tigress. And you can always call me if you
need me to come down here and punch somebody in the nose.
Caly: (smiling) Thank you, Daddy.
(To be continued.)
(Darren Moore: Dean Y.
Caly Moore: Arianna Z.
Special thanks to Bailey for the spiffy Corvain!)
Caly faces the office, adjusts the backpack slung over her shoulder, and
Darren drives away.
Cut to Mateo Lopez, expertly waterskiing on the lake.
Mateo: (shouts to Sienna Dane at the wheel) Take me in! (as the boat
approaches the dock, he spots Caly coming out of the office, dressed in
her park uniform) Nice!
(Staring at her, Mateo releases the drag line, allowing momentum to
carry him onto the beach. But his expertise goes unnoticed by Caly as
she is joined by Camp Director Wilson, who is apparently giving her the
orientation tour of the RV park.)
(Sienna secures the boat before walking down the short dock, stepping
over Mateo's skis to stand beside him, following his line of sight.)
Sienna: Must be the new girl.
Mateo: There's a new girl?
Sienna: Remember? Last meeting? Director Wilson said Jerry was
graduating and going to work for his dad's company.
Mateo: I have a blind spot regarding anything about Jerry.
Sienna: Because he beat your War Wolf high score?
Mateo: Because he was a boring cheater. What's her name?
(They begin strolling toward the main lodge.)
Sienna: What do I get out of it?
Mateo: You're bargaining for a name?
Sienna: I've seen her file. I can tell you more than her name.
Mateo: (looks impressed) What do you want?
Sienna: I've got kitchen clean-up duty tonight. You cover and I will
spill the tea.
Mateo: I hate clean-up.
Sienna: She's seventeen. That info's free. The rest will cost you
clean-up duty.
Mateo: Oo, nice safety. Thanks for the warning. Gentlemanly approach,
nothing freaky. Okay, I'll cover clean-up. (they enter a side door
marked, "Employees Only."
(To be continued...)
(Sienna: Bailey
Mateo: BSM)
(Cut to the short hall just inside the door.)
Lucas: There you are!
Mateo: Lucas, you seem too happy to see us?
Sienna: Too much caffeine is bad for you.
Lucas: There's a new hire! A she-hire!
Sienna: Nice that you make her sound like a horse.
Mateo: We saw her. She's snackie!
Sienna: Now, you're eating the horse.
Mateo: Si knows all about her.
Lucas: Tell us everything!
Sienna: I can't.
Lucas: Sienna, you're killin' me, here.
Sienna: Nothing I can do about it. Matty already traded the info for
covering my kitchen duty.
(Mateo gives Lucas a "sorry, not sorry" shrug and expression.)
Lucas: Well, you both suck!
(Cut to Camp Director Wilson's office. He gestures Caly to take a seat
in one of two chairs facing his desk, and walks around the desk to his
chair, taking a seat and accessing information on his computer.)
Dir. Wilson: Calypso Moore, you will be a senior at Newport High School
in September?
Caly: Yes. And people usually call me, Caly.
Dir. Wilson: All right, Caly. (smiles) What do you think of Trailer Trails?
Caly: It's almost like staying in a hotel suite.
Dir. Wilson: (smiles) We pride ourselves on comfort and convenience.
Caly: It shows.
Dir. Wilson: (glances at computer screen) It looks like this will be
your first job?
Caly: I hope that's not an immediate disqualification. I'm a quick
learner, and a hard worker. Which sounds like a load of crap, but it's true.
Dir. Wilson: (eyebrows rise and his lips twitch in amusement) We're not
especially concerned with that, Caly. Most of our younger employees are
high schoolers testing the employment waters.
Caly: My dad says I need something constructive to occupy my free time,
and I'd like to contribute to household expenses. So, a job seems like
it will fill both
Dir. Wilson: That's very commendable, Caly. Your parents must be proud
of you.
Caly: I think my dad is. My mom --
Dir. Wilson: (looks at the computer screen and blanches) Oh, Caly. I'm
sorry. You know, I have a good feeling about this. (smiles) I think
you'll fit right in with our team. Welcome to Trailer Trails!
(Caly returns his smile.)
(Caly: Ari
Wilson: DY)
