Here is the local juvi coopers hawk. He got flushed from a fence post and didn't realize that I was standing behind the crab apple tree when he picked it to perch on. Only got off a few shots before he flushed again.

Got a nice image of a coopers hawk today at the Kings Links Golf Course at Boundary Bay near Ladner B.C. He was trying to hide from the terrible weather on a post situated below the road. This is a full frame image re-sampled for easier viewing. Better Viewed at full size.
