Took another trip to see the mandarin duck. Just a few warblers and some other common ducks around at first. Was pleasantly surprised to see him fly in with his girlfriend and another wood duck buddy later on in the morning.

Took this one from about 200 feet with 1200 mm. Just a quick grab as they burst off of the water. Here is the mandarin male flying with his female wood duck mate.
