Stanton Manor, Wiltshire - The sun was dropping down rapidly toward the horizon, and I could see the clouds moving across from the right. I just needed something in the foreground to turn this into something more than 'just an ordinary sunset photo'.

And then I spotted the apple trees. Applied a spot of fill-in flash and away you go... the shot, just as I hoped it would turn out.

One thing is pretty clear though.

I don't think this would have worked half as well if the apples had been green.
