Areas of vibrant colour created using acrylic paint and palette knife to form the structure and build up the piece using layers.

PREHISTORY - a vibrant abstract acrylic painting - variously coloured columns of colour - brilliant reds and yellow - crossed with a series of black geometric forms and a top layer of shining gold, using scraped acrylic paints. The main layers were completed using palette knives to form the structure and build up the painting.

ISLA'S DREAM - A five element composite photograph based upon a remembrance token found hanging in a Scottish park. Photo's combined and processed in Paint Shop Pro, and printed on high-quality Kodak paper. The composite image then overpainted using vibrant and colourful acrylic paints to form an abstract frame around the image.
