During a long afternoon walk at the Orland Grassland, a movement far across the field caught my eye. Luckily my lens "locked" in on the subject, a Northern Harrier, as it gracefully flew back and forth hunting for prey. The bird was approximately 1/4 mile away, so the lens was certainly "challenged." I hope viewers will enjoy the series.
