It has become a regular visitor. This was taken through my kitchen window this am. I got only one shot!

This shot was taken through the slats of the blind drawn down over my kitchen window. If I had taken the time to raise the blind, it would have seen me and immediately fly off.

Two Cooper's Hawk's, one mature and one juvenile have been visiting our backyard regularly, although they've had no luck, due to the savvy team of squirrels and Black-capped Chickadees sounding the alarm each time they swoop by. Today the mature hawk spent two hours and twenty minutes watching, waiting, preening and even pooping (yep) before finally flying away! You will notice variation in the color of the background when it moved from one tree to the other and due to changes in light conditions. The entire series was taken through my kitchen window.
