DAY 1
First thing we see as we arrive in Port of Hull.
Pride of Hull was designed as two ships in one, both a car ferry and a cargo transporter, with three large freight decks, loaded by a single stern door and a car deck, on deck 7, loaded via a side ramp, now THAT is something I never saw on any other ferry!
MS Pride of Hull is a Bahamas registered passenger and cargo roll-on/roll-off ship in service with P&O North Sea Ferries on the Hull - Rotterdam route
Entered service on 2 December 2001.
Upon entering service she was the joint title holder of the World's largest Cruise-ferry with her sister, the Pride of Rotterdam.
She has 12 decks!
Only, this time I am not sailing on her... we take the route to Zeebrugge, in Belgium.
Beautiful weather, evening on board, full of happy people, some celebrating the end of their holidays and going home, others celebrating the start of the holidays and looking forward to adventures new. Like us.
