Here's a short video showing the SIRUI Aurora 85mm f1.4 transitioning from stopped down (f5.6) to wide open. f1.4 is useful to smooth out the nasties in the background!!
I've just posted a review of this lens on YouTube. It's here if you're interested: youtu.be/j8SFzHTxiT8

A new M42 mount lens with a triplet optical design, designed primarily (but not exclusively) for bubble bokeh.
TTArtisan asked me to test this intriguing lens a few months ago. It was launched to the public this week. Here I'm slowly focusing into the distance, wide-open (and I've also slowed down the video).
The lens's triplet design (3 elements in 3 groups) is similar to the much sought after and increasingly costly-to-buy Meyer-Optik Gorlitz Trioplan 100mm f2.8, know for its soap bubble bokeh.

There are three main versions of the cute little Zeiss Ikon Baby-Box camera (1930-1934).
A basic camera with a Göerz Frontar lens and a single speed instantaneous shutter. The simplest form has no metal plate on the front.
Secondly, there's the version with an Art Deco style hexagon shaped metal plate with a Göerz Frontar lens, but no other controls on the front.
Then, from 1930, there is the version (much less common), with a better Novar f6.3 triplet lens, an iris diaphragm and Derval shutter.
