As with much of this very archaic music, I am FAR from an expert. I mainly want to introduce these musics to my students, and give them an idea as to what it sounded like. This collection is of sacred music, as would be played during worship services in Medieval Europe. I have not included the names of either the pieces authors nor the musicians in this collection, either... Enjoy!

I wish I knew more than I do about thisl music (and I DO endeavor to learn!), but suffice it to say that this music is the stuff that Shakespeare would have heard. In fact, I usually use it to celebrate Shakespeare Day in class - April 23!

I wish I knew more than I do about classical music (and I DO endeavor to learn!), but suffice it to say that this music is classified as Baroque. You've all heard it before - and it's beautiful.

I wish I knew more than I do about classical music, and I honestly don't know what makes this music different than other mixes, except for the time period it's from. You've all heard it before - and it's beautiful.

Again, another cover (based on a pic I'd done in the past) for a playlist of music, this time from the American Revolution. This one isn't complete yet, so I haven't uploaded it to YouTube.
