Well I did say that I captured quite a few from this morning up at Seaham
The light was magic and the rain moving out to sea enhanced the scene by creating a wonderful misty feel
This wave looks a rather funny shape, like it's been flattened from above. Maybe it went to the wrong hairdresser :)

A full scale change from my recent dramatic wave images
This one takes on a more serene feel
We'd taken a couple of days away, shortly before my last op and spent one early morning sunrise on Embleton Bay Northumberland, walking toward Dunstanburgh
It's funny on return home, I barely looked at the images but looking for something a little different from large waves I decided this capture was worth a posting
Something about the sea in all it's guises has a soothing effect
My place to unwind

Well best laid plans and all that,,,,,,,,,
I'd been watching the forecast for quite some time and I got rather excited at the predicted height of the waves, as they were forecast to be much higher than ones I'd captured previously
Well, as I said, best laid plans...
It didn't happen :(
So here you have one from our last visit up at Seaham
Yes I know another wave image but thats what I love, so no apologies this time
Stay safe out there :)

Well I'm going to bore you all again with even more images from that last visit up to Seaham
I came away with so many images I was fairly happy with and as unfortunately we don't seem to be getting away as much as we used to, this is what I have to work with
I've said many times previously how I often see faces in the waves. On this occasion I think the wave looks rather like a sea monster, rising from the deep
The conditions that morning although not great to start with and one or two togs seemed to call it a day, due to the rain. We stuck it out, as the waves continued to pound their way toward shore
Then from no where we got this beautiful light, backlighting the mist/rain as it headed out to sea
It provided a wonderful atmosphere, conditions you don't often get
So here it is, the creature from beneath
Recommendation I keep forgetting to mention - Billy & Molly - Disney Plus
Its a story about an otter on Shetland
You can't not be touched, I cried at one point
So worth watching, if you've not already
