While I've still tons of KCS, let's take a brief break and stop in at the D&R for a couple of pics. I wanted to get their Alco S-1, 18, but the SW1 is the main power. (Had I been there the previous Thursday and Friday they used the Alco.) Still I did get it in action for one shot, to pull the train by the SW1 upon their arrival back ay North Dardanelle, and it was posed very nicely a couple of times I stopped by. And I've no qualms about it not actually running or moving. So while we'll get to the SW1 soon enough here's a couple of shots of S-1 18 at North Dardanelle.
