Today's OARCB (old ass rivet counter boomer) mundane wedgie, well the thrid time was the charm. Yesterday I made my third try at shooting the INRD's tunnel. Inspired by Mike Biehn's perfect photo here I really wanted it. Mt first try was to duplicate Mike's shot, but I just didn't have the light yet and it didn't come close to working out. I should have adjusted but I didn't. Lesson learned. On my second try I got zapped by the only cloud in the sky. And I mean the only one. Three stinking minutes of cloudy is plenty when its timed perfectly. So yesterday I was going to back to try again. Until I saw the satellite and decided not to go. But I might catch Corman at Frankfort if I hurried so we went there. While at Frankfort I decided what the hey, let's take a chance and go to the INRD anyway. It paid off. Its a "one and done" shot, unless the train stops at Solsberry, which he didn't yesterday. Though we did manage to catch him for one more shot at Bloomfield, but by then it was cloudy... Still I was a happy camper. Now if I could just get the shot at Creech....
