Little Mill Junction Signal Box, not an easy place to find (I used Google Earth to help me), is situated approximately 10km south of Abergavenny at the junction of the A4042 and A472. It was built in 1883 by McKenzie and Holland for the Great Western Railway and has 17 levers with vertical tappet interlocking, 9 of which are active. In addition, it has an Entrance-Exit (NX) panel for signalling and is a transition point between automatic and manual block. It is also the first signal box on the Marches line north of Newport.

I am not sure if the 'box has achieved grade II listed status, but according to my research is scheduled to be decommissioned in 2017.
